Today, I thought I might tell you a few of the things for which I feel thankful. I know it is Thanksgiving time and all, but I feel as though I should let you know a few things I am thankful about whether it is Thanksgiving or not since we should always have grateful hearts and since I have some thoughts that may be different from the norm.
It will be my attempt in this column to present reality versus my opinion on a few matters that are concerning to you and to me.
So, let’s say you are an Establishment Moderate Republican, which actually means you may not be concerned with the huge debt this nation has run up. You may claim to be a fiscal conservative. But are you really?
For several months, at least since the last presidential election, and during the months the two candidates were campaigning leading up to the actual election, I have been holding something inside that I now want to reveal.
This story will take some of you back to your early childhood when I was only the age of about seven. For most of you, it will take you into history to one of the fun times we older folks had as entertainment.
If the Congress and the President decide to attack Syria, I consider it a foolhardy move made by politicians, whose decisions like this in the past, have led to the loss of American lives for senseless reasons.
Recently, I had the opportunity to converse with my friend who has been a Christian Missionary in the Middle East for many years. Besides being a man dedicated to Christ, he has clarity of just where inner peace is found, and with the danger of being a Christian Missionary at this time in the Middle East, I listen with bated ears to find out just what secrets he has found to unlock the mystery of
A thumbnail sketch of current events: Seventy something percent of new Obama jobs are part time jobs. And, get this: the top three employers in the United States are Wal-Mart, McDonalds, and Taco Bell. In the U.S., we now regrettably seem not to produce what would pay for high end jobs.
Jack Lew, U.S. Treasury Secretary, urged Greece on Sunday, July 21, 2014, to continue its efforts to stabilize its debt-ridden economy and capitalize on the sacrifices already made to “ensure prosperity and growth for generations to come”. Demetris Nellars, Associated Press.
This is the letter I sent to Georgia Senators’ Chambliss, Isakson and Congressman Collins.
What I am about to reveal to you has been unheard in the past in this country. In Germany during Hitler’s time, it was called the Gestapo. During Lenin’s time in Russia it was called the Cheka. Later on in Soviet Russia it was renamed the KGB.
Over 90% of the people who make up the main news media, newspapers, and major television networks are liberals who vote for and support any and all Democrats. It is also true that for the past five years these people listed above have not asked tough questions regarding the president’s actions, have covered up mistakes the president has made, and in most cases they have not reported facts that wou
Being a concerned citizen, and one who attempts to bring the truth to you from firsthand experience, I decided to attend a school, not a selected school, just any school, to ascertain why the school children of America are complaining about the food First Lady Michelle Obama has demanded the schools serve them for lunch.
“This country was founded on the principle that individuals should not be subjected to the control of a powerful State. That founding idea has never been in greater peril. If the Party of European Socialist were to rate Obama, he would get a near perfect score. He is clearly a Socialist in the European sense of the term”. Paul Roderick Gregory. Contribution Write for Forbes January 22, 2012.
You know, sometimes I wonder just what in the world is happening in Washington. Do the people who live outside of that idiotic city have any real idea just how damaging these people are to our republic? Most of these people in Washington are highly educated. However, I feel with every highly educational degree they obtain, the lack of common sense prevails as a universal trait.
Several days ago, I believe it was on the History Channel, there were pictures of President Ronald Regan and then, General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Michael Gorbachev.
Ladies and Gentlemen: For the past sessions, we have explored the subjects of Man Made Global Warming Climate Change and Why Should You Work? Now, I would like to spin a tale about a boy named Barry who was a classmate of mine during my grammar, middle school, and high school years. As this adventure unfolds, you will understand why I was quite relieved when Barry decided to attend a college many
Ladies and Gentlemen: During my last visit with you, I chitchatted with you about Man Made Global Warming Climate Change. Today, I will delve into the question of “Why Should You Work? Before I administer my dissertation on the subject of “Why Should You Work”, I must take you back about 56 years and tell you why I happened to be born at the wrong time in this country.
Ladies and gentlemen, how would you like it if every time something happened, that was considered the least bit out of the ordinary, you were accused of being the culprit?
There is no doubt that Europe is becoming more secular. In my view, Pastors and Priests of the Christian faith in Europe have allowed the government and society to dissuade them through political correctness, supposed racism, supposed bigotry, supposed homophobia and other labels, to not defend their faith and in the process have lost almost all of their congregations.
