Money secured for new computer lab

OAKWOOD - The Hall County Library System has announced funding for a new computer lab at it's Blackshear Place Branch.

Library officials say the funding has been secured from the state of Georgia and Hall County. Funds will be allocated towards a ten station wireless computer lab with one instructor station to be built at the library branch in Oakwood.

$30,000 in state funds will go towards the project and $17,000 will come from Hall County. Officials say the focus of the lab, which will be open seven days a week, will be on workforce development.
