Tennis champs crowned

GAINESVILLE - Kit Nguyen defeated John McCoy Sunday to capture the Men's Open Singles championship in this year's Northeast Georgia Tennis Championships in Gainesville.

Doug Moore and Chad Waters bested Jody Powell and John McFall for the Men's Open Doubles title.
