$33 million okayed for road work in Hall, Jackson, White

ATLANTA - The $350 million road paving project approved by the state DOT board includes fundng $33 million for two projects in Hall, Jackson and White counties.
Eighteen million of that is for the widening of the West By Pass in Cleveland to four lanes between Hope Road and Georgia 115.
The board also okayed $15 million for right-of-way acquisition for the widening of Athens Highway from near Talmo in Jackson County, northward to near Barrett Road in Hall County.
Another area project was also included: $90 million for the widening of State Route 20 in Gwinnett and Forsyth counties.
